Rusty Ruscetta

Rusty RuscettaRusty Ruscetta is an honorably discharged World War II Air Force Veteran where he served as a Communication Specialist and on the B24 Liberators. After the war, he founded and was president of a retail chain of stores in Southern California along with a partner. He sold the shoe stores in 1975 and formed Peterbilt Construction Company which built single family dwellings and shopping centers, remodeled apartments, coordinated all subcontractors with government agencies, arranged financing and was liaison with real estate brokers. Rusty Ruscetta had "hands-on" participation with all aspects of development, building and sales up to 1982. In 1983, Rusty Ruscetta co-invented the auxiliary radar you find in automobiles so equipped. Later, in 1985, he started a software company program for South Coast Air Quality Management District that monitors business compliance with the California Clean Air Requirement Act. Rusty Ruscetta retired in 1990 and began volunteer work with the Inventors Assistance League, where he now serves as Chief Executive officer.

Rusty Ruscetta has the education and "hands on" experience in management, finance and process direction to qualify under the most exacting demands of creative people—neophyte and professional. Briefly stated, these are Rusty Ruscetta's qualifications:

  1. A graduate of R.I.C.E. Marketing and Business School where skills in management, marketing and finance were developed. Upon completion of course work, the skills developed were further honed at the UCLA graduate school of business.

  2. Management and finance skills were then brought to an exacting point by active management in retail marketing. Rapid advancement led to an opportunity to become active in the formation of a chain of retail stores. Rusty Ruscetta's position in this new endeavor was that of Secretary-Treasurer, where he became engaged in the handling of funds and working capital addition negotiations.

  3. Even more germane to the necessary qualification to counsel creative people, Rusty Ruscetta has been employed with Peterbilt Construction in Pasadena, CA, where dealing with financial institutions, management of finances and acting as a liaison with governmental agencies has been required. The chain of command developed required the supervision of subordinates resulting in a smooth, efficient organization.

  4. Concurrent with his position at Peterbilt Construction, Rusty Ruscetta has held his status as Chief Operations Officer at the Inventors Assistance League in Glendale, California, a non-profit 501(c)(3) Educational Institute.
